My Hero

Charles August Lindbergh Jr. has always been my hero.  His Biography is so amazing..I strongly recommend it.  Also both his father and mine had the same name:  Charles August.  He also attended my high school Redondo Union High School and no we were not classmates.  Redondo is a very old school..I know I am older than Dirt....but not dirt quite that old.  I have a large collection of Lindbergh ephemeria and decided when I found the Desiree Frame from Creative Imagination this was what I needed to display a small part of it.  I love how the frame gives you such a large area to collage on.

The small photograph at the side shows the crowds at the arrival of the
Spirit of St. Louis in France.

This is a stamp from Viva las Vegastamps

Lindbergh Postage Stamp 1 3/4 x 1 3/4

Item no. 17408

I am really proud of this stamp.  On a visit to  the actual Viva las Vegastamps!
store.  Wayne, the owner, asked what stamp I would want if
I could have any stamp design I wanted and Wha..Lah the Lindbergh postage
stamp.  Wayne you're the best, thank you again.
I am from the original VLVS design team
and am very pleased to be back on the
current design team.  Check out the our DT blog at Vivalasvegastamps

I stamped this onto a piece of Ecoart board and glazed it, chalked it and
baked it to get this sepia look glazed look.
